DEAR GOD, sweetheart, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!! Jeez, I feel like I just skipped through a minefield and then saw the sign on the other side.

I like that metaphor. And I like to think we’re out of the minefield. It’s just too bad we hit one or two on the way.
