Zora has another minor embolic reaction on her finger. It seems very minor. It appeared today around noon. But the words of one doctor keep echoing in my mind: “multiple emboli are an indication for heart surgery.”

She shouldn’t be having anything of this sort at this point.

Luckily, she already had an appointment with her I.D. doctor tomorrow. So that helps a bit.

But we’re supposed to fly to California tomorrow as well. That may be in doubt. It’s hard to imagine the doctor saying, sure, go ahead, fly. We’ll see.
